The EMEA Forum took place from 2pm to 3.30pm BST on Thursday 16th September as a digital event, creating interactive experiences enabling attendees to enjoy a truly immersive event.
We heard from senior decision makers from some of the region’s largest corporations, to understand what is important to them and enjoyed the opportunity to interact with many of them. The Forum featured a vibrant and insightful panel discussion to debate some of the key topics highlighted by the respondents of our Women in Treasury Global Study, sponsored by State Street Global Advisors.

Kemi Bolarin
Head of Treasury Europe, GXO Logistics
Kemi Bolarin is the Head of Treasury Europe at GXO Logistics. She joined GXO in July 2021, previously she was Director, Treasury at GTT Communications and prior to that, Group Treasury Director at Travelport. Kemi is a chartered accountant (ACA) & qualified corporate treasurer (AMCT) with over 25 years’ experience in the banking and corporate sector, working in various treasury and finance roles. Outside structured work, Kemi is a board member of a multi-academy trust and the Dean of Career Nuggets Academy. She is actively involved in delivering mentoring to schools and young female leaders; and engaged in various initiatives towards inspiring the ‘future’.

Yang Xu is the Senior Vice President, Global Treasurer & Corporate Development of Kraft Heinz, a US$26bn publicly listed global food company. Having worked in various roles across treasury, M&A, strategy, finance, sales and marketing and operations in many different countries, Yang believes the best treasury professionals drive value through business partnership and cross functional acumen, and differentiate by defining and delivering the optimal capital structure of a company. Yang holds a Masters degree of Business Administration from HEC School of Paris and London Business School, and is a native of China.
Cara Savas
European Regional Head of Sales for Global Banking Clients, Global Liquidity and Cash Management, HSBC
Cara Savas is the European Regional Head of Sales for Global Banking Clients with the Global Liquidity and Cash Management business. Cara joined HSBC in 2018, having spent 14 years at J.P. Morgan Chase in a variety of sales leadership roles including Natural Resources Sales Head based in Houston and European Sales Head for Multinationals based in London. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Chase she spent four years in transaction banking at Deutsche Bank London and Brussels and four years at Citibank in Global Relationship Banking in Dublin and London. Cara is a graduate of the National University of Ireland.
Priyanka Rath
Head of Global Liquidity Product Solutions Specialists, Treasury Services, J.P. Morgan
Priyanka Rath is based in London and leads the Global Liquidity Product Solutions specialist team. Her group is responsible for delivering strategic solutions incorporating liquidity and account services, supporting the Large Corporate, NBFI and Financial Institutions clients. Priyanka has over 16 years of experience in product and client advisory roles. Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2013, Priyanka spent three years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Global Liquidity Management solutions as the EMEA product lead. Prior to that, Priyanka worked with Barclays Corporate bank in London, within their Cash Management business. Priyanka holds an MBA from HEC School of Management, France and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India.
Sophie Jackson
Publisher & Head of Strategic Content, Treasury Today Group
Sophie Jackson is Publisher & Head of Strategic Content at Treasury Today Group and has 13 years’ experience in publishing. She began her career in a role in cultural publishing at the Dazed Group in London before moving to Tokyo in late 2010 to work as a freelance editor and consultant. Sophie headed up the launch of Treasury Today Asia in 2012 whilst based in Japan and then Hong Kong. Treasury Today Asia is now read by 65,000 corporates across Asia Pacific and our Adam Smith Awards Asia are in their eighth year. Sophie is a driving force behind our global Women in Treasury initiative and a passionate proponent of diversity and inclusion. She is a UCL graduate who studied in Paris and London and is based in Europe.
