The Adam Smith Awards Asia programme has now entered its seventh year. Across the world, an Adam Smith Award is recognised as the ultimate industry benchmark for corporate treasury best practice. Our range of 2020 award categories is tailored to honour corporates across the Asia Pacific region for their strategies and achievements.
Nominations are now open and our panel of judges will be looking for solutions that showcase the region’s very best and brightest and demonstrate exceptional innovation in Asia’s corporate treasury arena. Last year a record-breaking 300 submissions were received for this highly prestigious awards programme and the competition for these coveted awards was very strong.
Winners will be announced in late September. The Adam Smith Awards Asia provides corporates across the region with a golden opportunity to significantly raise the profile of themselves and their treasury team and to demonstrate their thought leadership and innovation to the industry.
At this moment, Treasury Today Asia’s first concern is for our staff, our readership and our whole community’s wellbeing. We are therefore updating our event delivery for this year's Adam Smith Awards Asia and want to inform you all of these changes.
In a challenging year for all of us, it has never been more important to share the achievements of our community and celebrate the Adam Smith Awards Asia 2020 winners at a safe distance with you all, our Asia Pacific audience.
We know that you are all working harder than ever to deliver excellence and we want that to be recognised. Therefore, after we close for nominations and our judges have completed their deliberations, we will host a live announcement of the award winners results, date to be confirmed. This announcement and the subsequent Adam Smith Awards Asia season will take the place of our Gala Presentation Lunch. Everyone who submits nominations will be invited to join us live, to learn whether their nominations have been successful and to celebrate the successes of their industry peers.
Following the announcement, we will then launch the 2020 digital Adam Smith Awards Asia season during which we will be hosting a series of winner podcasts, delving deeper into each winning solution and featuring all Overall Winners and Highly Commended Winners and their key partners. We will also be producing case studies on all award winners, which will be featured in our Adam Smith Awards Asia 2020 Yearbook, to be digitally published in January/February 2021.
The Adam Smith Awards Asia is recognised throughout the region as the industry benchmark for best practice and exceptional solutions in treasury, and this year will be no exception. We look forward to receiving all nominations, to celebrating the winners’ achievements with you all and to bringing our formidable community together once again.
The Adam Smith Awards Asia recognise success, regardless of budget, geography or industry.
Our judging panel will be looking for innovative solutions that demonstrate best practice. You will need to evidence the qualitative as well as the quantitative benefits and describe how you have made a difference. What did previous winners do? The case studies which showcase last year’s winners may help you.
