At this time, Treasury Today Asia’s first concern is for our staff, our readership and our whole community’s wellbeing and therefore we made some changes to the delivery of our Women in Treasury Singapore Forum 2020. It has never been more important to bring the community together and so this year’s Women in Treasury Singapore Forum took place from 2pm to 3:30pm SGT on Tuesday 14th July as a digital event. A new era with new challenges requires a new way to create interactive experiences and to connect our community.
Our Women in Treasury Singapore Forum featured a vibrant and insightful virtual panel discussion, with four leading industry speakers debating some of the key topics highlighted by the respondents of our Women in Treasury Global Study 2020, in association with State Street Global Advisors. This lively debate was moderated by Sophie Jackson, Publisher & Head of Strategic Content, Treasury Today Group.

The panel discussion included a fabulous opportunity for everyone in the audience to express their views and put questions to the speakers. With the use of live polling and an interactive question and answer session, attendees enjoyed a truly immersive experience, allowing the panel to discuss and respond to their views in real-time.

Rashmi Joshi
Chief Financial Officer and Whole time Director, Castrol India Limited
Rashmi is the first woman Executive Director on the Board of Castrol India Limited and is a member of the India Country Leadership Team as well as Global Lubricants Finance Leadership Team. Previously, she was based in Singapore as Castrol’s Asia Pacific Planning & Performance Manager. She also led finance teams for countries covering Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Korea and Taiwan. Rashmi is an independent director on the Board of Thirdware Solution Limited and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary. She has won a number of awards, including Treasury Today Asia Woman of the Year 2019 in the Adam Smith Awards Asia 2019.
Goh Seng Ti
Senior General Manager, Finance & Administration, Isuzu Motors Asia Limited and President, Association of Corporate Treasurers (Singapore)
Seng Ti Goh heads the FP&A, Treasury & Accounting and the Human Resource departments in Isuzu Motors Asia Limited. He has over 15 years of corporate and market experience spanning from sell to buy sides. He is the current President of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (Singapore) and is a member of the MAS SC STS Committee. Seng Ti holds an MBA from Nanyang Business School and Executive Programme from IMD Lausanne.
Aigerim Bekzhanova
Business Controller, Vanderlande Industries
Aigerim Bekzhanova is Business Controller for Vanderlande Airports and Warehousing & Parcel (South East) Asia based in Singapore. Aigerim joined Vanderlande in the Netherlands in 2017. Before Vanderlande, she has had ten years of extensive cross functional experience in the oil and gas industry in Kazakhstan, where she had varying roles from auditor in Ernst and Young to corporate commercial roles in oil production and industrial automation. She has a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
Tiana Sheridan
Vice President, Sales Manager, Cash Management, BlackRock
Tiana Sheridan, Vice President, leads the distribution of Cash & Liquidity solutions in APAC, part of the BlackRock’s Global Lending and Liquidity division. She is responsible for key client account management, business development, sales and marketing of BlackRock’s cash management capabilities across a diverse range of sectors including banks, wealth management, Corporations, Hedge Funds, and Family offices across APAC. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2015, Tiana worked within the Goldman Sachs Asset Management, European Shareholder Services team where she was responsible for supporting their liquidity portal and the revenue sharing process across the firm. Tiana has a BA in Economics and Finance from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
Sophie Jackson
Publisher & Head of Strategic Content, Treasury Today Group
Sophie Jackson is Publisher & Head of Strategic Content at Treasury Today Group and has 13 years’ experience in publishing. She began her career in a role in cultural publishing at the Dazed Group in London before moving to Tokyo in late 2010 to work as a freelance editor and consultant. Sophie headed up the launch of Treasury Today Asia in 2012 whilst based in Japan and then Hong Kong. Treasury Today Asia is now read by 65,000 corporates across Asia Pacific and our Adam Smith Awards Asia are in their seventh year. Sophie is a driving force behind our global Women in Treasury initiative and a passionate proponent of diversity and inclusion. She is a UCL graduate who studied in Paris and London and is based in Europe.
