Our Women in Treasury Singapore Forum 2017 took place on Thursday 6th April 2017 at the Four Seasons hotel in Singapore from 12 noon to 4.30pm. This annual event is firmly established in the diaries of women and men across the Asia Pacific region and was attended by over 120 people.
The event started at noon with a pre-lunch welcome reception including a short presentation summarising the broad findings of our latest Women in Treasury Study. This was followed by a three course lunch during which the panel discussion took place, featuring four influential speakers. The panel discussion was moderated by Sophie Jackson, Associate Group Publisher, with leading panellists Bonnie Yang, Treasury Director, Alibaba, Felicia Foong, Regional Treasurer, Asia Pacific, Nestle, Toni Weber, Group FD, interTouch and Manoj Dugar, Managing Director and Product Head for Core Cash, Asia Pacific Treasury Services, J.P. Morgan. The vibrant and insightful panel debate focused around some of the key issues highlighted by the study and the challenges to the progress of diversity in our industry as well as plenty of practical career tips and motivational messages for those in the treasury function.
Following the panel discussion, a lively open question and answer session took place, giving members of the audience a superb opportunity to share their own experiences and pose questions to the panel.
Coverage of the event appeared in the May/June 2017 edition of Treasury Today Asia.
