Our Adam Smith Awards Asia 2021 winners showcase how treasury is at the forefront of corporate success and innovation.
DHL, Olam, Alibaba, Merck, Henkel and Singapore Airlines are just some of the winners of Treasury Today Group’s Adam Smith Awards Asia 2021, announced on October 14th. Our annual celebration of Asia-based treasury teams is universally recognised as the ultimate industry benchmark for corporate treasury achievement. Now in its eighth year, we had an exceptional and record-breaking 497 submissions for our range of award categories.
Whether integrating new technology, managing cash, risk or liquidity in a standout strategy, or introducing innovative trade, ESG or supply chain solutions, this year’s winners illustrate that treasury is at the forefront of corporate and institutional success and innovation.
Like the Malaysian government’s Ministry of Finance, which turned to its long-term banking partner J.P. Morgan to help them launch the world’s first sovereign US dollar sustainability sukuk. Or tyre group Goodyear’s treasury team, which transformed its liquidity management process across the 13 markets it operates in the region. Or Singapore Airlines’ successful Rights Issue as COVID and lockdowns hit.
In the coming weeks we will publish our series of winner podcasts and case studies, exploring each winning solution with their key partners. We look forward to celebrating this year’s winners’ achievements and our bringing our formidable community together once again.
