To all our readers across the world, first and foremost, we hope that all of you, your friends and your family are safe and well. Secondly, we hope that you and your teams are adjusting to whatever way of working you have had to adopt. It has never felt more important for us at the Treasury Today Group to stay connected with our readership, and to use our platforms to bring our international treasury community together to share your challenges and triumphs, and to offer examples of best practice amongst treasurers and corporate finance professionals.
Issues that impact you, our community, such as working from home, the future of work, female representation and diversity and inclusion are all greatly impacted by the global pandemic. We know that the pandemic has disproportionately affected certain groups in our societies, and it will take time to see how inequalities will have been impacted long term. We, at Treasury Today Group, have welcomed news of the global impact of Black Lives Matter and stand with the movement across the world.
We want to support you all during this time and are therefore happy to be providing a range of new digital delivery options including virtual roundtables, live events, a new series of digital masterclasses as well as our usual topical analysis and case studies. We would like to encourage you also to reach out and let us know what further support and resources you would like us to offer at this time. You can contact us here.
We will be delivering our Adam Smith Awards seasons for EMEA and North America, and later in the year Asia-Pacific, via digital delivery – and with an exciting new series of award winner podcasts. The new Adam Smith Awards campaigns will ensure that although we are unable to host our usual Gala Presentation lunches, as little as possible will be lost in terms of celebration, recognition and exploration of these award-winning examples of best practice.
Our Women in Treasury community Within resources will be available throughout the year, including our How To videos amongst others and our Women in Treasury Forums will also be delivered virtually throughout the year. As mentioned directly to our Within network and again here, we are ready and willing to deliver whatever additional resources and community engagement that you might need.
We also want to encourage you all, our global treasury community, to think about your privilege and access at this time and how you might leverage both to help those who need your voices and action most right now. We look forward to providing you with the latest in objective information and to seeing and hearing from you via our digital event deliveries throughout the rest of the year.
Stay safe.
