Carol Thurnheer, Regional Treasurer at consumer healthcare group Haleon, embodies the very best of modern treasury in her strategic ability and her commitment to people and progress.

Overall Winner: Jessica .A. Oku, AGLC

Jessica .A. Oku is a treasury and finance leader with more than 12 years’ experience delivering measurable business results while helping others grow. In her treasury leadership roles, she has raised millions in capital to support expansion and investment, delivered more than US$1.3m in cost savings, reduced finance costs by 40% within six months, and recovered approximately US$700,000 in excess bank charges. Her work consistently positions treasury as a strategic discipline focused on liquidity, capital allocation, risk management and long-term sustainability.

Champion of Change – APAC

Lucia Ma is Group Treasurer and Inventory Controller at Klook Travel Technology and this year’s Champion of Change Overall Winner in recognition of her success at challenging conventional thinking, modernising treasury processes at the travel company, and empowering the next generation of female treasury professionals.

Champion of Change – EMEA

Overall Winner: Marianna Polykrati, Avramar Aquaculture

Marianna Polykrati, Group Treasurer at AVRAMAR Aquaculture wins Champion of Change, EMEA in recognition of her role steering the company out of a period of financial distress and operational uncertainty. Her exceptional determination, resilience and leadership transformed the treasury function from a largely informal structure into a fully organised and operational department.

Over a career spanning more than two decades in treasury and finance, Isha has built a track record defined by execution, transformation and sustained leadership impact. In her past roles, she has played a central role in supporting corporate growth, including assisting in raising €12m from financial institutions to fund M&A activity and business expansion. Her focus on balance sheet efficiency has also delivered tangible results, most notably a 15% reduction in overdue guarantees and deposits, unlocking previously restricted cash and strengthening liquidity management.

Shuya’s career trajectory in treasury at automotive multinationals in the Asia Pacific region is a reflection of the evolution of treasury from operational excellence to strategic leadership at group level. He currently serves as Head of Group Treasury at ARCHION Corporation, a holding company formed from the integration of MFTBC and Hino Motor, where he oversaw regional liquidity management, cash visibility, pooling structures and treasury infrastructure across diverse markets.
