Women in Treasury London Forum 2017

This year’s Women in Treasury London Forum took place on Thursday 14th September at the fabulous venue of Plaisterers’ Hall in the City of London. This key industry event is firmly established in the diaries of both female and male corporates and was attended by over 180 people.

The Forum started at noon with a pre-lunch networking drinks reception during which an informative presentation set the scene, outlining some of the key findings of our global 2017 Women in Treasury Study. This was followed by lunch in the ballroom, during which an inspiring and insightful panel discussion took place, moderated by Sophie Jackson, Associate Group Publisher at Treasury Today Group, focusing on some of the broad themes highlighted by the respondents of this year’s Study.

We were delighted to be joined this year by a superb line-up of speakers comprising:

  • Cornelia Hesse – Head of Controlling, BASF Global Finance Shared Services
  • Frances Hinden – VP, Treasury Operations, Shell International Ltd
  • Peter Lay – Head of Global Treasury, Oxfam
  • Sabine McIntosh – Managing Director, Global Head of Account Services, Treasury and Trade Solutions, Citi
  • Deborah Mur – Head of Global Liquidity and Cash Management, HSBC France

The panel discussion was followed by a lively and informative question and answer session, enabling many members of the audience to pose their own questions to the panel and make their voices heard.
