Women in Treasury London Forum 2014

The 2014 London Women in Treasury Forum was held on 18th September 2014 and took place at the stunning Plaisterers’ Hall in the City of London. The event was again a phenomenal success and was attended by 190 women who travelled from many countries to participate. The Women in Treasury Forum provided an opportunity to hear four senior industry panellists debate key issues highlighted by our Women in Treasury Study and brought women from across the industry together to share their experiences, challenges, successes and failures as an inspiration to all operating in this industry.

The event started at noon with a pre-lunch networking drinks reception during which Angela Berry, Publisher of Treasury Today presented a summary of the findings of the 2014 Women in Treasury Study, supported by RBS. This was followed by lunch, during which the panel discussion took place, focusing on four key issues, nuturing talent, driving equality, work/life balance and how to get ahead.

Our panellists:

  • Anita Prasad, General Manager, Treasury Capital Management, Microsoft
  • Sonia De Paolis, Treasury Director, TomTom
  • Jennifer Boussuge, Head of Global Transaction Services, EMEA, Bank of America Merrill Lynch
  • Claudia Colic, Head of Transaction Banking, UBS AG, Switzerland

Maia Rushby, diversity in leadership, facilitated the discussions. An open question and answer session followed the discussion, with many interesting and challenging views and questions raised. The forum offers a rare opportunity for women in treasury to meet each other, share experiences and discuss some of the issues highlighted in the Study.
