This year’s Women in Treasury & Finance APAC Forum brought our community back together at the Four Seasons Hotel, Singapore on Thursday 9th July.

To start the day, we hosted an intimate workshop with Standard Chartered taking a deeper look at one of the key topics from our 2026 Global Equity Study: “Bringing Men on Board – Equity in Action”. The two hour session included fireside chats with Standard Chartered representatives Arlene Gan, Global Head, Global Implementation and Sharad Desai, Global Head, Sales and Structuring, alongside an hour session lead by executive coach, Angelena Cala.

The forum opened with a welcome reception and fireside chat with Rachel Whelan, Managing Director, APAC & MEA Head of Corporate Cash Management & Global Head of Payments & Transactional FX Product Management at Deutsche Bank.

At the core of the event was the panel discussion, moderated by Rozella Marie Mahjhrin, featuring:

  • Shelly Maneth – APAC Chief Financial Officer, Clifford Chance
  • Jinny Goh – Group Treasurer, SATS Ltd
  • Rebekah Wong – Head of ASEAN Payments, J.P. Morgan
  • Manoj S Bhatia – Managing Director, Global Head of Subsidiary Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Asia Pacific, MUFG Bank, Ltd.

Drawing on themes from the Global Equity Study, the panel spoke candidly about the realities of building a career and a culture that works for everyone.

As always, the real value of the afternoon was the community in the room, so thank you to everyone who joined us. Full coverage of the afternoon, including video, article and podcast, will follow soon.
