Women in Treasury APAC Forum 2022

It was wonderful to be back with our APAC community to host our final Women in Treasury Forum of 2022 on Tuesday 22nd November at 12pm – 4:30pm SGT at Raffles, Singapore.

Sophie Jackson, Joint Publisher and Head of Strategic Content at the Treasury Today Group facilitated a candid and thought-provoking panel discussion with our superb line up of influential panellists:

  • Juanita Woodward – Founder, Connecting the Dots
  • Shilpa Narula – Director & Head, FX, Derivatives & Investments, GE Treasury
  • Winnie Yap – Country Head, Global Payments Solutions, Singapore, HSBC
  • Indira Sahab – Managing Director, J.P. Morgan

The forum opened at noon with a lively pre-lunch welcome reception which included a short presentation by Meg Coates, Joint Publisher & Head of Operations, Treasury Today Group, summarising the broad findings of our Women in Treasury Global Study 2022, proudly supported by State Street Global Advisors. This was followed by a three-course lunch in the stunning Palm Ballroom, during which the panel discussion took place on stage.

This was followed by a dynamic question and answer session, with members of our APAC audience taking the opportunity to seek advice, share their views and pose questions to the panel.

At the end of last year, Treasury Today’s Women in Treasury initiative was included within the Global Diversity List 2021, a definitive register of organisations and individuals that demonstrate an unswerving commitment to the values of equality, diversity and inclusion. Thank you to all the women, non-binary people and allies who have lent their time, support and voices to this platform! This accolade allows us to continue growing and developing our initiative.
