This year’s Women in Treasury London Forum took place on Thursday 12th September at the fabulous venue of Plaisterers’ Hall in the City of London. This is the seventh year of this vibrant and hugely popular industry event which is firmly established in the diaries of both female and male corporates across the industry. This exuberant event was attended by over 200 people.

The forum opened at noon with a buzzing pre-lunch networking reception featuring an informative presentation which showcased some of the key findings of our Women in Treasury Global Study 2019, proudly supported by State Street Global Advisors. The reception was followed by a three-course lunch in the ballroom, during which an inspirational and insightful panel discussion took place with our leading industry panellists. The discussion was moderated by Sophie Jackson, Joint Publisher & Head of Strategic Content, Treasury Today Group, who facilitated a lively debate on some of the key topics highlighted by the respondents of this year’s study.

Our stellar panel of industry speakers featured:

  • Hailey Laverty – Group Treasurer, InterContinental Hotels Group plc (IHG)

  • Joseph Peka – Deputy Treasury, URENCO

  • Joanne Bates – International Treasurer, Worldpay, Inc.

  • Nadya Hijazi – Managing Director & Global Head of Global Liquidity and Cash Management Digital, HSBC
