We were thrilled to reconnect with our APAC community at the first Women in Treasury Forum for 2024. The event took place at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday July 11th, starting at 12 noon. Attendees enjoyed an inspirational afternoon of discussion and interaction with industry peers.

The forum began with a welcome reception sponsored by MUFG including a fireside chat with Manoj S Bhatia, Managing Director, Global Head MNC Banking at MUFG.

Next, we presented the 2024 Within Awards to our deserving winners in attendance. We were delighted to honour Sugandha Singhal as our Highly Commended Winner Champion of Change APAC and Marie Hong as the Highly Commended Winner Woman of the Year APAC. Case studies detailing our APAC Within Awards winners stories are available to read now online.

Following the awards presentation, we held a vibrant and insightful panel discussion featuring:

  • Marie Hong – Asia Head of Treasury, Manulife Financial Asia

  • Sugandha Singhal – Vice President – Head Treasury, SRF Limited

  • May May Pang – Co-head of Payments Corporate Sales, ASEAN, J.P. Morgan Payments

  • Jennifer Doherty – Global Head, Business Enablement & Change, Transaction Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, Standard Chartered

Moderated by Sophie Jackson, the panel discussed some of the key issues surrounding mental health, class and neurodiversity. The session concluded with a lively Q&A session, allowing attendees to share their experiences and ask questions.
