Women in Treasury

It was wonderful to reconnect with our US community at the final stop of our Women in Treasury & Finance Forum global tour. Hosted at the renowned Midtown Loft and Terrace on Wednesday 22^nd October, the event offered attendees an opportunity to exchange insights and experiences with colleagues across the industry.

The event opened with a welcome reception and fireside chat with two speakers from Standard Chartered Bank: Yasmine N. Loften, Director of Transaction Banking Sales, and Mark Troutman, Managing Director, Global Head of Transaction Banking Corporate Sales Corporate & Investment Banking.

At the core of the event was the panel discussion which featured:

• Nicola Bates – President & CEO, Siemens Capital Company
• Anjali Shah – Managing Director, Chief Commercial Officer; Head of Americas Sales, Treasury Services, BNY

Moderated by Sophie Jackson, the panel explored some of the panellist’s career journeys and experiences, with advice on career planning, effective leadership and finding a coach. The session concluded with a lively Q&A session, allowing attendees to share their experiences and ask questions.
