A radio station has just launched in the UK designed to lift the spirits of the nation by playing non-stop Christmas songs. Heart Xmas is a new radio station that will play all the Christmas crackers that are normally so seasonally out of reach.

25 areas of the UK will be able to play the station via DAB and is available on Global Player and Smart Speakers. The station was apparently launched in response to the challenging year that Brits are currently enduring as a way to help the nation with some light Christmas figures. What viewing numbers will look like and how long the project will last into 2021 remains to be seen.

As one potential new listener put it, ‘Christmas has come early this year!’
