US President gets a prank call from comedian John Melendez on Air Force One.

US President Donald Trump recently fell victim to a prank call whilst on board Air Force One. This is after comedian John Melendez phoned the President pretending to be Senator Robert Menendez.

The comedian and the President shared a three-minute call, talking about various issues including immigration and Senator Menendez’s recent corruption investigation.

“I just could not believe that it took us an hour and a half to get Jared Kushner and Donald Trump on the phone from Air Force One,” said the comedian.

In response to the call, the White House released a statement saying: “The president wants to be accessible to members and likes engaging them and wants them to have the opportunity to connect. The downside of that is sometimes the channels are open too widely and mistakes like this happen.”
