Residents of West Yorkshire were surprised by an alpaca named Oscar making an appearance at a football game between Carlton Athletic and Ilkley Town.
Oscar made his on-pitch debut just before half time and took some persuading to leave the premises!
Ilkley Club Chairman, Richard Giles, speaking about the escapee from a nearby farm, had the following to say, ‘I’ve been watching football and playing football for 40 years and I’ve never seen anything like this!’
