20th May 2021 – Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank today announced the appointment of Premdeep Shah as ASEAN Head of Fintech & Platform Coverage.

Based in Singapore, Mr. Shah reports to Rajesh Thakur, ASEAN and India Fintech Head and Burkhard Ziegenhorn, ASEAN Corporate Bank Coverage Head.

In this newly created role, he will cover the corporate banking needs of Tech & Digital unicorns and start-ups in the e-commerce, Online Travel Aggregator, Fintech, Digital Entertainment, Edutech, and Adtech industries in South East Asia.

Mr. Shah has 20 years of international Corporate and Commercial Banking experience, covering technology & digital companies, large corporates, MNCs, mid-market and SMEs with respect to cash management, FX and liquidity management solutions, trade and structured trade finance. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he was Singapore Head of Technology and Digital Clients Segment at Citi Commercial Bank, Singapore.
