Based in New York, Farhad will be working closely with William (Bill) Mansfield, CEO & Country Head – North America, Lisa Francis, Managing Director, Institutional Coverage, and Andrew Edwards, Managing Director, Client Solutions Group, to drive the bank’s strategy and contribute to the sustainable growth of its North American business.

Farhad brings 19 years of experience in origination, structuring, coverage, and advisory across the financial services sector in the United States, Canada, and Australia. He joins Lloyds from CIBC Capital Markets, where he held multiple senior roles for nearly 18 years, most recently serving as Co-Head of its U.S. Corporate Banking division.

His appointment follows a series of strategic hires within Lloyds as the business continues to expand its presence in North America. This includes the appointment of Mitchell Nadel as Head of Financial Markets – North America, in December 2024.
