Press release: J.P. Morgan Payments new co-head of EMEA Payments & Commerce Solutions

16th November 2022 – We have made a senior hire in our Payments business in EMEA. Ludovic Houri has joined J.P. Morgan Payments as the new co-head of EMEA Payments & Commerce Solutions.

Ludovic comes from Dalenys, a subsidiary of Groupe BPCE and PSP merchant acquirer for large ecommerce merchants where he served as CEO. Prior to this, Ludovic served as vice president of product, payment and acquiring at Ingenico (now Worldline) for several years where he was instrumental of the transformation from a hardware POS company to a multi-billion-euro valued payment company. Ludovic is a renowned merchant acquiring veteran having also managed acquiring and acceptance businesses at First Data (now Fiserv) and American Express.

Morgan Payments, as we embark on multiple new paths to double our revenues in the region by 2026. Ludovic’s appointment is reinforcing the position of J.P. Morgan Payments in Europe for the merchant acquiring business which is an area of excellence for us. Sara Castelhano and Ludovic will be jointly responsible for all Pay-in and Pay-out products, value-added services, integrated solutions, data solutions, country capabilities and regional expansion. We are confident that under Ludovic and Sara’s strong leadership, we will accelerate to achieve our ambitions across the region.”

As regional co-heads, they will also oversee key interdependent functions more broadly across J.P. Morgan Payments, including Channels and Digital and Global Clearing.
