23rd June 2023 – I am really pleased to announce that Melissa Tuozzolo will join HSBC as Global Head of Client Service, GPS.

Melissa will be responsible for leading Client Service for GPS across all regions and clients to position HSBC as an industry leader in this area. She will develop and implement a globally consistent, high quality, risk aware client service culture which will deliver superior post-sales support to CMB and GBM clients; across the full range of GPS products and across service teams on and offshore.

Melissa brings with her deep payments and cash management expertise, alongside a relentless focus on client experience and a drive to digitise our client journeys. She has held a number of leadership roles, most recently as Head of International and Financial Institutions Payments at Bank of America. She has also held positions at HSBC including North America Head of International Payments. I have had the opportunity previously to work with Melissa and know that she has an incredibly strong emphasis on client centricity, innovation and commercialisation and look forward to seeing her bring this to HSBC.

Melissa joins us in September, reporting to me, and will be based in New York. She will be a member of the Global Payments Solutions ExCo.
