We supplemented this with data from Google to discover the issues which are searched-for most by type of software.
Key findings from the study include:
- More employees use Google (38%) than their own company’s IT support (35%) to assist them with tech issues.
- 32% said they’d missed a meeting due to technical issues, and 22% have missed deadlines.
- A fifth of employers haven’t provided employees a computer charger while working from home.
- More than a third of employees work from a personal device rather than one provided by their employer – creating significant security implications.
- A third of employees would leave their job because of poor workplace tech – and retail employees specifically were most likely to do so (40%).
