Deven Somaya, Global Head of Emerging Commerce Solutions
Deven Somaya has been appointed as the Head of Emerging Commerce Solutions within the TTS Partnerships and Innovation Group. In this global role, Deven will continue to be based in Singapore and report to Biswarup Chatterjee, TTS Global Head, Partnerships and Innovation and Rajesh Mehta, Head of TTS Asia Pacific.
In this newly created Global TTS role, Deven, working closely with partnerships, strategic investments, products, sales and geographies will be responsible for designing and developing new client solutions and developing and incubating new business opportunities across TTS groups and client segments. The role will have extensive focus on co-developing new commercial solutions with clients and ecosystem partners, identifying and assessing commercial opportunities in new product and service areas that can unlock long-term strategic value.
Deven has been with Citi for over 20 years and most recently was the ASEAN and Singapore TTS Head (Interim). Prior to this, Deven was the TTS Product Head for Singapore. He has held a number of different roles in the global, regional and country offices spanning Cash and Trade, Product and Sales. Deven started his career with Citi in New York as a Management Associate.
Kirstin Renner, Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions for Australia & New Zealand
Kirstin Renner has been appointed as the Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions, Australia & New Zealand, effective 20 March 2023 and subject to regulatory approval. In this role, she will report to Rajesh Mehta, Head of TTS Asia Pacific. She will be responsible for leading the TTS business strategy and growth in Australia and New Zealand.
Since joining Citi in 2007, Kirstin has held a number of senior positions within the TTS Australia and New Zealand business including Head of Implementation and Channel Product, Chief Operating Officer and most recently Head of Core Cash Product. Kirstin has a proven track record of delivering outstanding results across strategy, risk and control, implementation, product and account services.
Earlier this week, Citi also announced the appointment of Anoushka Dua as Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions for ASEAN, reporting to Rajesh Mehta, Head of TTS Asia Pacific and Amol Gupte, Head of South Asia & ASEAN.
