Press release: BNP Paribas: new Head of Global Trade Solutions, Transaction Banking Asia Pacific

1st December 2022 – BNP Paribas has appointed Cynthia Tchikoltsoff as Head of Global Trade Solutions, Transaction Banking Asia Pacific, and Stephane Gaboriaud as Deputy Head of Global Trade Solutions, Transaction Banking Asia Pacific, effective 1 December 2022.

Cynthia Tchikoltsoff is appointed as Head of Global Trade Solutions, Transaction Banking Asia Pacific, with effect from 1 December 2022. Currently based in Hong Kong, Cynthia will be relocating to Singapore to take up this new responsibility. She will report to Chye Kin Wee, Head of Transaction Banking Asia Pacific.

In this new role, Cynthia will oversee the growth and deepening of the bank’s trade franchise in Asia Pacific, which covers traditional trade and supply chain financing for international MNCs and Asian corporates.

With over 15 years of experience in supply chain management, Cynthia was instrumental in the establishment of award-winning Asian supply chain business. She also leads the sustainability initiative for Transaction Banking Asia Pacific, supporting the commercial acceleration and continued development of the bank’s sustainability offering.

Stephane Gaboriaud is appointed as Deputy Head of Global Trade Solutions APAC, effective 1 December 2022. He is based in Singapore and will report to Cynthia.

Having joined BNP Paribas more than 18 years ago, Stephane has held various positions across Europe and Asia Pacific. Stephane will continue to lead and develop the traditional trade franchise across the APAC region.
