The ACT has worked with Accredible to create the digital accreditation using their platform, a secure and reliable resource that is also used by companies including Google, McGraw Hill and the Corporate Finance Institute.

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, the ACT has continued to support students in their online learning and development. From February 2021 the ACT will be issuing all students with a digital credential on successfully completing an ACT qualification. Digital badges will be shareable via LinkedIn, email signatures, social media, blogs, websites and ePortfolios. Digital certificates allow students to share evidence of their qualifications online.

Janet Legge, Director of Awarding Body at the ACT said “We hope that our students will take the opportunity to embrace and engage with this new technology and share their amazing achievements. Completing any of the ACT qualifications takes hard work and demonstrates commitment to personal development and to maintaining the highest standards of the treasury profession. In these times, when it is sometimes hard to see the positives, it is even more important that we share and celebrate individual excellence.”

Caroline Stockmann, ACT Chief Executive said “This development is particularly important at a time when virtual and digital profiles are critical to professional success. We are delighted to give our students additional tools with which to share their accomplishments.”

“The Association of Corporate Treasurers has consistently set benchmarks for treasury and finance excellence, and raised the profile of the profession,” said Danny King, CEO of Accredible. “We are excited to bring their credentials into a globally available, highly shareable digital format. By delivering The ACT’s credentials with Accredible’s software, members and learners will instantly receive recognition and rewards that they can seamlessly promote on social platforms like LinkedIn.”
