Pawternity? The puppy-related controversy taking LinkedIn by storm!

A boss sparked debate, and Financial Times coverage no less, last week, when coming to the work-based networking platform to request advice after an employee asked for time off to take care of their new puppy.

According to the Manchester Evening News, 61% of the 34,000 respondents to the BoxPark owner and CEO said that they were against the idea. When it comes to individuals asking for what they need we don’t feel that has to be a controversy and it is up to companies to make sure that they contribute to making their staff’s households as happy and healthy as they can, within reason.
