In a bold leap forwards into space exploration which nobody anticipated, scientists are sending a test satellite made of wood into space. This is apparently in order to test the durability of such a material when used to send a satellite into orbit.

Far be it from us to doubt the intelligence of such an experiment, but it doesn’t seem likely plywood will see its most durable days in space! Good luck to the so-called Finnish WISA Woodsat!
