Treasury Today Group, in partnership with MUFG, hosted an exclusive Leadership Workshop the morning of our Women in Treasury & Finance Forum. Hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore. The workshop brought together a handpicked group of 30 participants for an intimate session co-hosted by Treasury Today Group CEO Sophie Jackson and Angelena Cala, Head of Human Resources at Dymon Asia Capital.
Attendees represented 23 corporates and included group and regional treasurers, accounts executives, relationship managers and individuals working in human resources.
The morning opened with a networking breakfast, followed by a fireside chat between Sophie Jackson and Snow Hnin, MUFG, Director, Head of Strategy & Execution, Global Subsidiary Banking at MUFG, exploring themes of purpose, leadership and authenticity in the workplace.
The core of the morning was an interactive and intimate workshop session entitled ‘Building Your Identity’ led by Angelena Cala, it focussed on practical strategies to strengthen presentation and communication skills, how to lean-in to our own unique genius as well as ways to develop our personal brand and harness a powerful network.
Cala, an accomplished financial HR leader with extensive experience transforming and optimising performance across global institutions, shared her passion for growing and coaching leaders.
The workshop concluded with reflections and key takeaways from Jeslyn Yong, Director, Head of Talent Team, GCIB APAC, MUFG, highlighting the importance of continuous development and community support.
