A Canadian couple were discovered attempting to sidestep corona regulations whilst walking together outside. Whilst there is a restriction on walking outside after the curfew that has been imposed in the Quebec area from 8pm until 5am, there is an exception to the rule that includes walking your dog.

The couple were discovered by police soon after the introduction of the curfew and were noticeable by the leash that the woman was carrying and which was attached to her husband. The couple were said to have been uncooperative with the police as the wife frankly explained that she was walking her pet!

Whilst that was an innovative stretch of the term ‘pet’, the police were not amused and the couple were fined around US$1,200.
