In bizarre news from the US this week, a cat made a surprise arrival at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

One US cat has gone viral after falling from the upper deck of Hard Rock Stadium during Saturday’s game between the Miami Hurricanes and Appalachian State Mountaineers.

The black and white cat fell approximately nine metres from the top of the building. Video footage shows the feline hanging from an upper deck, clinging by its claws to fabric on the railing.

A group of heroic fans swept into action and saved the cat by constructing a makeshift net from a flag and got the furry visitor to safety!

The cat’s current whereabouts are still a mystery, as it scurried away after the successful rescue mission.
