The highly acclaimed Adam Smith Awards programme is now in its 14^th year. This globally renowned platform showcases the very best and brightest in corporate treasury.

The nominations are in and counted! We are delighted to announce we have received a record-breaking number of submissions in the Adam Smith Awards this year – we received 309 nominations, spanning over 40 countries, from Switzerland to Algeria, Canada to Jamaica and Qatar to Nigeria, with a wide range of companies in terms of size and industry sector represented.

The last 12 months really has showcased the industry’s ability to overcome ever-increasing challenges and an Adam Smith Award is justifiably recognised throughout the globe as the ultimate industry benchmark for corporate treasury best practice.

Corporate treasury departments operate as a true strategic partner to the business, constantly being challenged to deliver better and more innovative solutions. An Adam Smith Award is the benchmark of that achievement. The awards recognise the integral position the treasury profession now occupies around the world, showing how treasury professionals are stepping up to support business growth in incredibly challenging times.

Treasury Today’s first concern is for our whole community’s wellbeing, therefore following the success of our 2020 virtual delivery, we will again run the Adam Smith Awards 2021 digitally. It has never been more important to share the achievements of our community and we look forward to celebrating this year’s Adam Smith Awards winners at a safe distance with you, our global audience.

Following the live winners’ announcement, the 2021 digital Adam Smith Awards season will launch, during which we will host a dedicated podcast series featuring the success stories of all our winners and their partners, in-depth case studies and social media celebration of this year’s winning examples of best practice!
