Alan Greenberg is MD Head of GPS Sales – Technology Media & Telecoms. Based in San Francisco since 2017, he is responsible for driving the strategic direction of Global Payments Solutions TMT sector cash management coverage of US corporates globally, in collaboration with Coverage RM’s and Regional/Country GPS teams.
Alan has over 25 years of broad corporate and retail banking experience at HSBC, having begun his career in Retail and Commercial Banking in London, UK. In his final 5 years in Hong Kong, he was a Regional Corporate Banking Relationship Manager and Regional GPS Corporate Sales Head. Alan graduated from the University of Manchester with a Batchelors Degree in Financial Services (ACIB). He is also SWIFT & ACT CertICM Certified.

Alice Xu is the VP, Corporate Treasurer at Workday, Inc. She joined the company shortly after its 2012 IPO to establish and lead the global treasury function. In her role, she oversees global treasury operations, liquidity strategy, FX management, capital markets, and insurance risk management. With over 15 years of prior experience in treasury roles at AMD, Cisco Systems Inc., and Mattson Technology Inc., Alice is a seasoned finance leader and a graduate of UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
Amit Parikh is Managing Director, Head of West Coast, based in our San Francisco office.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Level, a startup specialising in employee benefits. Before Level, he was the Executive Vice President at Green Dot. In this capacity, he oversaw the development and implementation of embedded finance solutions for Apple, Amazon, Intuit, Uber and other partners. Amit joined Green Dot from Apple Inc. after six years of leadership roles, including Head of Wallet Services Partnerships and Chief Operating Officer of Apple Payments Inc.
Before Apple, he held leadership positions at Discover Financial Services in Technology, Finance, and Payments.
Amit holds a dual MBA from Columbia and Haas Schools of Business.
Anita Mehra served as the Corporate Vice President of Global Treasury & Financial Services at Microsoft and recently retired after twenty fulfilling years at the company. She brings extensive experience in finance, capital markets and innovative use of technology in financial services from her two decades in various leadership roles at Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, she led treasury and tax functions at LSI Logic (now Broadcom) to support its transformational growth. Prior corporate roles, Anita was an Assistant Professor of Finance and International Business at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Anita holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Pune University in India, a master’s in business administration from Florida Institute of Technology, and a doctorate in finance and international business from Temple University.
Catherine Portman is Vice President, Treasurer at Palo Alto Networks. Catherine has spent the last 30+ years at various global technology companies in Silicon Valley, leading global treasury, and specialising in corporate banking, capital structure, foreign exchange, investment management and customer finance. She has been described as a “champion of people” and is passionate about leading teams and developing world class professionals.
Catherine is a Santa Clara native, graduating from San José State University with a BS, Business Administration & Accounting and received her MBA from Santa Clara University. She currently serves on the board of Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School.
Cenita D’Souza is a seasoned finance executive with extensive expertise in corporate treasury, including FX hedging, bank account management, working capital management, investments and M&A. She has a strong track record of building exceptional teams and scaling treasury operations, combining a hands-on, analytical approach with a strategic enterprise mindset.
Currently based in Portland, Oregon, Cenita works as a Treasury Consultant. Before transitioning to consulting, she held key treasury leadership roles, including Assistant Treasurer at Columbia Sportswear Company. She holds a Master of Science in Finance from Texas Tech University.
Christopher Presley is Senior Vice President, Business Development based in San Francisco and covering the west region for BNY’s Liquidity and Margin Sales team.
Prior to joining BNY, he held senior business development roles as a Regional Director at State Street Global Advisors and a Director at PFM Asset Management.
Christopher holds a dual Executive Master of Business Administration from Brown University and IE Business School.
As Head of Treasury Operations and Cash Management at NVIDIA, Deb Banerjee leads the company’s global liquidity strategy, banking infrastructure and treasury risk management framework to support rapid growth and innovation in the semiconductor and AI industries. With extensive expertise in corporate finance, treasury technology and global cash management, Deb oversees end-to-end treasury operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, intercompany funding and any payment processing initiatives.
Prior to joining NVIDIA, Deb held Treasury roles at Ebay/Paypal and Microsoft, where she implemented treasury management systems and developed innovative liquidity solutions across multiple regions.
Ibrahim has 17+ years with HSBC’s Global Trade Solutions (GTS) and in this time has held various roles including origination, client management, structuring, capital management. He has worked in Asia, Middle and North America, and is currently US head of TMT, leading a team of four individuals and focused structured trade finance solutions for clients.
Jacquie is currently SVP, Treasurer and Head of Investor Relations at Gilead Sciences which she joined in 2021. Prior to Gilead, Jacquie led a combination of investor relations, treasury, corporate communications and corporate social responsibility at four other publicly-traded companies, serving as strategic adviser to CEOs and CFOs at Illumina (2017 to 2021), Cepheid (2008 to 2017), JDS Uniphase (2004 to 2007) and Borland Software (2001 to 2004).
Prior to moving to the US in 2001, Jacquie worked for the British Government from 1995 to 2000, serving under two Prime Ministers in the Cabinet Office, and also served in Sarajevo, Bosnia, as part of the United Nations peace-keeping force. Jacquie has an BA(Honors) from University of Kent in Politics and Government and a finance-focused MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Jacquie is a CFA charter holder, and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
Karina Inga-Kamienski is Senior Director, Capital Markets at Gilead Sciences, Inc. Karina has 20+ years of experience in finance and treasury. Karina leads a team that oversees liquidity planning, capital structure and capital allocation. Karina has executed financing transactions totaling ~US$50bn. Karina previously managed treasury operations and foreign exchange and was part of the investor relations team at Gilead.
Prior to joining Gilead, Karina was a Treasury Consultant managing treasury operations, investments and foreign exchange as well as implementing treasury systems. Some of Karina’s clients included KLA-Tencor, Intuit and Electronic Arts.
Karina is the founder of the Women in Treasury Network and the Next Generation of Women in Treasury Network in the S.F. Bay Area. Karina is also the founder of the Latinas in Finance & Treasury Circle. Karina is a Certified Treasury Professional and an AFP member.
Karina graduated from San Francisco State University with a BS in Finance and Banking, and she received her MBA from the University of San Francisco.
Kenny’s been in the treasury and payments/tech industry for 19 years, with experience on both corporate treasury and banking sides. He joined Google Treasury in 2010 as their first Cash Management Analyst and is now the Head of Treasury Tech. Kenny leads his team to oversee treasury systems and technology, as well as implementations for other finance systems requiring integration with treasury’s banking partners.
Previously, Kenny was a treasury/payments adviser for Google product launches, consulting on forms of payments, cash flow structures, currencies, legal entities, etc. He also assisted product and engineering teams to implement payment and billing solutions. Products included AdWords, AdSense, Android Play Store, Google Cloud, Youtube, Waymo, GPay, Google Maps/Waze, Drone Delivery and many others.
Other prior responsibilities include treasury M&A integration (Deepmind, Motorola, Nest, AdMob, etc), worldwide cash balances reporting, global cash forecasting, liquidity and investments, bank guarantees/standby letters of credit, daily cash positioning.
Lori Snow is a dedicated finance and treasury professional whose career spans Fortune 100 corporations, commercial banking, local government, and higher education. For most of the past decade, she has been at Stanford University, where she currently serves as Assistant Treasurer for Cash Management & Operations.
An advocate and banker at heart, Lori previously founded and led Treasury Intelligence, Inc., where she worked with clients to lower banking costs and improve operational efficiency.
Originally from New York, Lori has lived in many places, including South Africa, where she earned her MBA in Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York at Albany and is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) with the Association for Financial Professionals and is currently a finalist for the AFP Pinnacle Award.
Lori is active in her professional community, a member of the Women in Treasury Network, and has served on the boards of the San Francisco Treasury Management Association (SFTMA), the Rocky Mountain AFP, and the San Mateo County Treasury Oversight Committee. Now based in the Bay Area, she enjoys hiking in the Redwoods and spending time with her three unique and talented children.
Michelle Pas is a Senior Vice President at BNY, focusing on commercial efforts for the West Coast across liquidity and margin needs.
She’s been with BNY for four years, partnering with corporates and institutions to optimise their treasury strategies. Before joining the bank, Michelle spent seven years at Bloomberg working with corporate treasury and buy-side institutions.
Mobin Bagheri is an Associate at MUFG, based in San Francisco, where he supports relationship managers in their coverage of US-based technology companies. In this role, Mobin contributes to client engagement, strategic planning and deal execution across a dynamic portfolio of tech clients.
Before joining MUFG in 2021, Mobin worked as an M&A Analyst at Commerzbank in New York City, contributing to transaction advisory and financial analysis. He holds Series 79 and 63 licenses and earned his master’s degree in Global Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
Monika Trieb is the Director of Treasury based in Foster City, California. With a strong background in treasury and strategic cash management, Monika leads initiatives that optimise liquidity, mitigate financial risk and support long-term growth. She works closely with senior leadership and business partners to align treasury operations with broader business objectives.
Nate Hughes is a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager covering US-based technology companies. In his role, Nate is responsible for leading a team of product partners to advise on capital structure, deliver working capital solutions, and provide clients access to MUFG’s global network.
Prior to joining MUFG in 2022, he spent twelve years at Bank of America covering sub-investment grade enterprise software companies as a relationship manager in the San Francisco, CA office. Before moving to the west coast, Nate held roles in real estate structured finance at Macquarie Securities, LaSalle Bank/ABN AMRO, and started his career as a credit analyst in Chicago, IL. Nate holds Series 7 and 63 licenses and has a degree in International Relations from Brown University.
Philomel Peña is a seasoned treasury professional and the current Treasurer at the University of California, Office of the President. With over 25 years of experience in treasury management, she has worked across various sectors, including technology, and has been instrumental in overseeing cash operations, foreign exchange, enterprise banking relationships and financial risk management. Her leadership style is transformational, emphasising innovation, effective communication and creating a supportive work environment. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Management from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Beyond her professional achievements, she is actively involved in community service and initiatives supporting women in finance.
Priti Kartik joined CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity technology company, in late 2020. With more than 20 years of progressive experience in high growth companies and diverse industries, Priti brings deep experience to various areas of treasury. She has managed teams across geographies in Americas, Europe and Asia and has built the treasury function from ground up multiple times. Prior to CrowdStrike, Priti was Head of Treasury at Logitech, where she also oversaw the Credit and Collections functions. Priti served as Vice President and President of the Silicon Valley AFP (formerly PTMA) in 2009-2011 and is a committee member of San Francisco Treasury symposium and Women in Treasury (WIT). Priti holds a Graduate Diploma in Finance from Australian National University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai, India. She is CTP certified.
Ronnie Dang is currently Treasury Manager at Juniper, where he recently oversaw the FX and Investment programme. Prior to joining Juniper, Rommie worked at Sanmina and Western Digital.
Shannon Alwyn is a Sr. Director – Treasury at Netflix where she oversees global treasury operations and FX markets risk management. Prior to Netflix, Shannon worked at Hewlett-Packard and Ernst & Young.
Shelly Gupta is a dynamic and people-focused finance leader with over 20 years of experience helping organisations grow, transform and thrive. As Snr. Vice President of Finance at Juniper Networks, Shelly leads a talented team responsible for Corporate FP&A, Business Unit Finance, Pricing, Supply Chain Operations and Treasury. Her leadership was instrumental in Juniper’s $14bn acquisition by HPE, where she guided financial due diligence and integration to ensure strategic alignment and value creation.
Her earlier experience includes impactful roles at LifeScan (Johnson & Johnson) and Intel Corporation.
Shelly holds an MBA from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from Delhi University. She is a Certified Cost and Management Accountant and a Certified Company Secretary.
As a champion of mentorship and diversity, Shelly actively supports women in leadership and leads Juniper’s campus recruitment programme.
Sophie Jackson has 17 years’ experience in publishing. She began her career in a role in cultural publishing at the Dazed Group in London before moving to Tokyo in late 2010 to work as a freelance editor and consultant. Sophie headed up the launch of Treasury Today Asia in 2012 whilst based in Japan and then Hong Kong. Sophie is a driving force behind our global Women in Treasury initiative and a passionate proponent of diversity and inclusion. She is a UCL graduate who studied in Paris and London and is based in Europe.
Tami Nguyen is a seasoned Finance and Treasury executive with over 20 years of experience across a range of industries. She’s held senior leadership roles, including Assistant Treasurer at Electronic Arts and Keurig Dr Pepper, and earlier in her career, she led finance initiatives at Sun Microsystems.
Tami is an active member of the treasury community and has served as President and Speaker Chair of the Silicon Valley AFP chapter. Today, she works as a Senior Consultant, focusing on Treasury and M&A.
She’s a Certified Treasury Professional and holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Pepperdine University, along with dual bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Economics from San Jose State University.
Tianyi Zhuang is an Analyst at MUFG’s Technology Coverage team within the Global Corporate and Investment Banking Division based in San Francisco. She supports relationship managers by helping relationship building with clients, collaborating with different teams across the bank and assisting with deal execution. Tianyi holds a BA in Economics and Art History from Williams College, where she also competed as a member of the Women’s Golf team.
Tom Halpin is a senior leader in the financial services industry, currently serving as the Regional Head of North America for Global Payments Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for driving strategy and execution to deliver outcomes that help clients achieve their business ambitions. Prior to joining HSBC, Tom spent 18 years at JPMorganChase where he held leadership roles in transaction banking with a focus on Global Payments and Global Trade spanning Product, Strategy, Operations and Technology. A recognized expert in the payments landscape, Tom serves on the TCH PayCo Board and is a member of the Federal Reserve Payments System Risk Committee, contributing to the advancement and security of the U.S. payments infrastructure.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Computer Science from Fordham University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Wendy Hsieh is a seasoned treasury leader with over 20 years of experience building and transforming treasury practices at companies including Meta, Google, Sun Microsystems, Textron and EY. She has led treasury operations across complex, multi-currency environments and provides a diverse and insightful perspective on operations and strategy.
