Amit Baraskar was originally a computer programmer (from NIIT) who became a Chartered Accountant in 2004 (Indian CPA). He has worked with diverse industries such as management audits and investigations, media and manpower services. Amit joined Travel Corporation India and post-acquisition he transferred into treasury.
Since 2016, Amit has headed up the treasury team at Thomas Cook India where his role includes, handling end to end treasury for India and Mauritius (TCIM) companies of the group. He is treasury support for the companies across 24 countries and five continents, supporting the entities on their funding requirements as well as cash management, cash flow management and other banking products.
Amit and his team were Highly Commended Winners in the Best SWIFT Solution in the 2017 Adam Smith Awards Asia and then won the Best Cash Management Solution in 2018. In 2024 Amit was awarded the CFO Next100 India for Capital Management.
He is a treasury writer and speaker and has been a judge for the Corporate Treasurer Hong Kong’s CT awards for the last four years. Amit was appointed Chairman of the India Corporate Treasurers’ Club in 2023 and re-elected again in 2024.
Amit is a keen athlete and has represented his state in national championships. He is a certified sport nutritionist and author of and e-book, ‘The boundless powers of superfoods’. He is multi-lingual and speaks basics of five languages, including German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese mandarin.
Annapoorna Venkataramanan is the Head of Treasury, Risk and Insurance for the ArcelorMittal/Nippon Steel Group of Companies in India. ArcelorMittal/Nippon Steel is a Joint Venture of the World’s leading Steel Players ArcelorMittal Europe and Nippon Steel Japan. AMNSI is a large Integrated Steel Player in the country, with over 8 Million tonnes of Rolling Capacity, owning associated Ports, Power and Shipping infrastructure, and on a large capital expansion schedule to begin production of ~15 million tonnes from 2027.
In her current role, she takes care of the Group’s funding, Enterprise Risk Management including Market Risk, Insurance. At AMNS, she successfully raised their first domestic Project Finance Term Loan, established a Regional Treasury Centre in Gift City, and implemented a highly Complex Treasury Process & Digitalization Transformation across the Group Entities.
Annapoorna has over 24 years of experience in Banking, Trade finance, Lending, Treasury Risk Management. She is a CFA & CA Gold Medalist and Alumni of Harvard Business School.
Atul Khanna has over 20 years of professional experience across Corporate Banking, M&A Advisory, Project Finance and Consulting. In his current role with MUFG, Atul is a Managing Director and Head of “Global Subsidiary Banking” (MNC Coverage) business for India. He also has the additional responsibility of leading local corporate coverage as the Head of “Global Corporate & Investment Banking” in the North and East India region. Atul has previously worked with Royal Bank of Scotland, ABN AMRO, Morgan Stanley, GE Capital, Axis Bank and Infosys Consulting. He has an MBA from Indian Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication.

Chartered Accountant by Qualification, Jyoti is a versatile finance leader, leveraging over 15 years of experience across corporate treasury, banking and risk management. Her career journey began in 2007 as an intern in Bank Treasury and Trade Finance Audit. She then held significant corporate treasury roles at RIL, Godrej, Roha, Sula, Greaves Cotton and VFS Global, providing her with a unique perspective across manufacturing, service, MNCs, banks, real estate and NBFCs.
Jyoti’s core competencies encompass Forex hedging, fund raising and fund management, M&A, treasury module implementation and strategic financial planning.
She is recognised for her analytical prowess, leadership capabilities and her ability to translate diverse experiences into strategic advantages.
Mr. Manoj S Bhatia is Managing Director and Global Head of Subsidiary Banking for MUFG Bank. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for strengthening MUFG’s global network and delivering the firm for GCIB’s existing corporate banking client portfolio as well as spearheading the acquisition of new business for the bank on a global basis.
The Global Subsidiary Banking coverage team is responsible for developing multinational client portfolios across the 50 markets that MUFG is present globally. The clients covered by this group are subsidiaries of multinationals headquartered in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Mr. Bhatia joined MUFG in August 2018 as Head of Global Subsidiary Banking for Asia & Oceania before assuming responsibility for Asia Pacific in November 2020 and his subsequent elevation as the Global Head of Subsidiary Banking in July 2022. Prior to joining MUFG, Mr. Bhatia was Managing Director and Head of Citi’s Asia Pacific Regional Account Management team with the MNC Banking Business. He joined Citicorp in June 1994 in India and over the years has worked with Citi’s Global Securities Services, Transaction Banking and Branch Operations.
He relocated to Citibank’s Singapore office in 2008 as Director and Regional Account Manager with the Global Subsidiaries Group, covering a portfolio of US and European global relationships across the Asia Pacific region.
Mr. Bhatia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electronics Engineering from the Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering in 1992 and has a Master’s in Business Administration from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in India, graduating in 1994.
Mohan Ramaswamy is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rubix Data Sciences, which is a technology enabled information and analytics business.
Prior to founding Rubix along with his former colleagues from D&B, Mohan served as the CEO of LexisNexis (which is an American legal information company) for India and South Asia for five years and was also part of the LexisNexis APAC Leadership team. Prior to LexisNexis, he was the COO of Dun & Bradstreet India where he spent around ten years building the D&B India, Middle East and Africa business together with the Leadership team.
Ruchi Mittal currently serves as the Joint Treasurer of HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd (HMEL) and is a Board Member for two group companies — HMEL Retail and HMEL Organics. In her current role, she oversees key strategic areas including risk management, fundraising, structured trade finance and investor relations for the HMEL Group.
Ruchi brings with her over two decades of rich experience in the banking and financial services industry, with deep expertise in risk management, project financing, structured debt and debt capital markets. Prior to joining HMEL, she was the Executive Director and India Head of Derivatives at DBS Bank and has held various leadership roles at DBS Bank and ING Vysya Bank.
Her innovative work in risk management and structured finance has been recognised on global platforms. She is a recipient of several prestigious accolades, including awards from Treasury Today’s Adam Smith Awards Asia, which celebrate best practices in corporate treasury and finance.
Ruchi holds an MBA in Finance from International Management Institute (IMI), Delhi, and a B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University. She has also completed the High Potential Leadership Programme from Harvard Business School and holds professional certifications including Reserve Bank of India (RBI) programme in Currency & Rates Risk Management, and from Euromoney Certification in Commodity Risk Management and Company Valuations.
Sachin has close to two decades of experience in corporate treasury and risk management. He has significant expertise in currency risk management, investment management, cash flows and working capital management, trade and supply finance, compliance and regulations, treasury automation and digitisation.
Sachin has worked across various industries such as energy, pharmaceutical, healthcare and IT. He is currently with Infosys limited and heads up global treasury. Under his leadership Infosys treasury has set industry leading standards and achieved record performance. He is also credited with digitising Infosys’ global treasury process and systems. Under his leadership Infosys treasury has received various internal and external awards including Asia’s Top Treasury Team award at the Adam Smith Awards Asia 2022.
Sachin is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and holds a post graduate degree in commerce. He also holds a certification degree “Accelerated General Management” from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and Forex and Treasury Management from Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Saurabh Kejriwal has more than two decades of banking experience across Client Coverage including Financial Sponsor Coverage, Transaction Banking and Structured Finance. In addition, he has two years of corporate treasury experience as well with a large Indian Conglomerate.
He joined MUFG in Mumbai in March 2021 and is responsible for Client Coverage across Global Corporates in Western India along with pan India Financial Sponsor Coverage.
Prior to MUFG, Saurabh spent nine years with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in Mumbai and Bangalore covering Indian corporates as part of SCB’s Strategic Client Coverage Group along with multinationals. He has managed some of the large Indian Corporate Groups in the Infrastructure, Energy and Resources, Metals and Mining, Telecom and Financial Services sectors along with multinationals including IBM, Dell, HP, Caterpillar, etc. He has also had prior experience of client coverage with multinational banks including HSBC and Citibank.
He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata University.
Based in Mumbai, Shreyansh Bhansali is a seasoned finance professional with over seven years of experience specialising in treasury operations, fund raising, cash management and relationship management. A Chartered Accountant and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), he has consistently delivered value in dynamic corporate environments by optimising liquidity and strengthening banking relationships.
Shreyansh is passionate about financial strategy and efficiency and plays a key role in supporting long-term growth initiatives. Outside of work, he enjoys playing badminton and reading books, which help him stay sharp both physically and mentally.
Sophie Jackson has 17 years’ experience in publishing. She began her career in a role in cultural publishing at the Dazed Group in London before moving to Tokyo in late 2010 to work as a freelance editor and consultant. Sophie headed up the launch of Treasury Today Asia in 2012 whilst based in Japan and then Hong Kong. Sophie is a driving force behind our global Women in Treasury initiative and a passionate proponent of diversity and inclusion. She is a UCL graduate who studied in Paris and London and is based in Europe.
