Money 20/20: The world’s biggest fintech conference gets underway

The world’s biggest fintech conference is a diary essential for treasury teams. No topic is off limits at this year’s Money20/20 in Amsterdam, 4th-6th June, with a stella line up and sweeping discussions.

Some 8,500 attendees comprising the most influential and inspiring people in fintech all together in the same place at the same time; 2,300 plus attending companies across the payments and fintech ecosystem and an estimated seven in ten of the audience characterised as senior decision-makers. Buckle up for this year’s Money 20/20 in Amsterdam 4th-6th June, a diary essential for payments and fintech teams within treasury.

Launched by industry insiders back in 2012, the conference is the heartbeat of the global fintech ecosystem. Some of the most innovative, fast-moving ideas and companies have found their feet (and funding) on the show’s floor.

With topics handpicked to inspire innovation and disrupt the status quo this year’s packed agenda and stella panellist line-up is spread over three days and features 350 speakers. A key theme running through the conference will focus on how humans and our increasingly intelligent machine counterparts are combining to create a whole new world.

Sessions will unveil the latest innovations in AI and show how humans are navigating this uncharted territory. Get a chance to hear from innovators on the front line how this age of transformation will create efficiency in ways we can’t comprehend as the collaboration between humans and machines takes off.

Keynote speakers include François Hollande, Former French President, Marnix van Stiphout, COO/CTO, ING and Joanne Hannaford, CIO and CPO, Corporate Bank at Deutsche Bank where she leads the technology strategy and delivery for the global corporate banking business. Elsewhere, Ripple’s Monica Long will present a crypto survival guide.

The packed agenda includes top executives from global banks alongside panellists like Patrice Amann, EMEA Financial Services Business Lead, Microsoft, who will discuss the latest trends in AI with Nvidia. Georgina Bulkeley, Director of Financial Services, Google Cloud will be asking if we are ready for the LLM checkout. Neil Cunha-Gomes, Head of EMEA Fintech & Digital Assets at Softbank Investment Advisors will discuss the art of the raise – and what investors really want. Similarly, Sarah Hinkfuss, Partner at Bain Capital Ventures will discuss where the smart money is going in venture.

Other speakers include Christel Karsten, Director of FinTech Strategy at Booking.Com who will talk on the power of embedded finance in travel industry and Inge van Dijk, Director Payments, Cash & Marketinfrastr, de Nederlandsche Bank will ask if regulation can unify European payments and Prema Varadhan, President Product & COO, Temenos will discuss the tech trends that make cloud reign supreme.

Money20/20 promises attendees a vibrant community of innovators, collaborators, and change-makers. This year’s conference will also spotlight the Faces of Fintech who are driving the pulse of the industry forward.
