Message from the MD
This month sees the publication of Treasury Systems Today, a guide to
choosing and implementing a treasury management System. In the time we
have been preparing this guide the impact of the net has been significant -
web-enabled systems have been introduced, the provision of treasury
systems using an ASP (Application Service Provider) has become accepted
and technical developments of all systems are being rolled out every few
months.
Nonetheless we sense the first signs of a maturing market. The differences
between the systems are becoming less obvious and most systems can
meet most treasury requirements. Choice now depends on smaller points
of system design and softer factors like the feel of the system and the
quality of the supplier and the support they give. Read all about this in the
brand new report which will be mailed to all subscribers this month.
Recognising the rapid developments in the systems market, Treasury Today will
be making available to subscribers a regularly updated list of system suppliers,
brief profiles of the systems that they supply, details of users of systems you
nominate together with draft RFP (Request for Proposal) documentation and a
check list for demonstrations. To obtain these electronic documents subscribers
should email subscriberservices@treasurytoday.com or phone the office on
