Our client is a large engineering firm based in London. It is a FTSE 250 Company that trades internationally.


The successful candidate would be working within the treasury team. This opportunity would provide you with a number of core treasury tasks and is a fantastic opportunity to really develop a career in treasury. This position reports to the Treasury Accountant.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cash & liquidity management.
  • Responsible for the operation of the daily cash process & reporting of the daily/weekly/monthly global cash position.
  • Preparing the weekly and monthly cash forecasts.
  • Foreign exchange management.
  • Collecting and analysing data to compute FX positions and to assist in the hedging process.
  • Responsible for the timely confirmation of FX deals.
  • Group inter-company loans.
  • Responsible for the operation of the inter-company loan process. Recording and tracking interest positions and advising back office of any changes to key terms on loans.
  • Management of bonds and guarantees, this includes arranging the issuance of bonds and monthly reporting thereof.
  • Management of bank accounts, opening and closing of bank accounts as well as managing signatories
  • Data gathering for internal and year end audit purposes and the opportunity to liaise with head office finance on a variety of matters.
  • Bank facility financial covenants review and compliance..

There is excellent training provided with this position and a candidate that is willing to strive for personal development is crucial.

Experience required:

  • Financial accounts/management accounts or prior treasury experience.
  • Studying towards ACCA/ACT/CIMA.
  • Sound knowledge of ‘credits and debits’.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
