Duties of the job involve:
- Being primary contact with banks in regards to credit line matters
- Preparing and executing negotiations of credit line facilities and legal documentation with prospective lenders
- Evaluating reporting prepared by the treasury Assistant and accountants for financing banks under credit facilities
- Keeping an eye on market developments and external influences that may affect the company
- Developing an integrated finance policy for subsidiaries in the UK
- Reviewing the monthly purchase programme prepared by the supply team
- Producing and updating monthly cash forecasting based on sales and purchase programmes
- Monitor intercompany transactions
- Reviewing and approving letters of credit, letters of indemnity, bank guarantees and related amendments
- Negotiating special letters of credit terms in new deals and off standard
- Monitoring company credit relationships in compliance with their standards
- Reviewing and negotiating credit supply terms and sales contracts to ensure company compliance is met
- Assessing and optimizing credit terms together with the marketing team
- Authorize payments and dd collections
- Authorizing and maintaining signatory in electronic banking systems with banks
- Monitoring and discussing with middle office to assess the company’s FX-hedging procedures
- Maintaining foreign currency balance reporting with middle office, risk team and head office to execute FX transactions based on imbalances.
The ideal candidate will be AMCT qualified with a sound understanding of treasury, money markets and FX.
