In November 2011, Treasury Today explored the origins of MyBank, the new payment initiative from the European Banking Association Clearing House (EBA). MyBank is designed to enable online consumers to authorise payment transactions via the online banking portal of their own bank on either a domestic or pan-European basis. Recently the payment solution has successfully carried out its first test transaction, ahead of its technical pilot phase.
